Quinta de Raj lda retains personal data provided by you only in the normal course of our business and for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Upon your request, you can confirm at any time what data we hold about you and how it is processed.

If you wish, you can request at any time to modify or manually delete your personal data, using the contact information below. Moreover, when it comes to sending email marketing communications (newsletter), you can also delete your subscription directly from the newsletter itself by clicking on the “Cancel Subscription” option (in the footer).

The information we collect

Personal information such as your name, e-mail address, phone number and company is collected only if you send it to us via a form or something similar. It may occur in the following situations: requesting access to the platform, requesting a quote, requesting a payment plan, subscribing to the newsletter, filling out a contact form and interacting with the chatbot.

Technical information (such as details about your device and IP address) may be collected for statistical purposes through Google Analytics, Google Ads and Facebook Pixel.

In order to provide you with the requested information, we need to collect personal data. However, the information we collect is secure, with appropriate security procedures in place. Your personal data is not shared with third parties.

We will make every effort to keep your data accurate and up to date and will not keep them longer than necessary for the purpose in question. They will only be used for the intended purposes, by the respective people with the responsibility assigned to them.

Sharing of your personal data.

In order to promote our products and services and/or comply with internal procedures, we may need to designate another organization that, under the responsibility of Quinta de Raj, processes or stores your personal data. Such activities may include payment processing organizations, contact systems, customer management systems or other systems that prove essential to the operation of Quinta de Raj.

In order for us to create and access your Quinta de Raj account, and to communicate with you as part of this, we need to collect personal data. However, the information we collect is secure, with appropriate security procedures in place. Your personal data is hosted in the European Union, will be used only for the purposes proposed, by the respective people with the responsibility assigned to them, and will be kept only for the time strictly necessary, in accordance with its respective purpose. They will not be shared with third parties.

Customer data – how do we use the personal data collected?

The collection, storage and use of the information provided is in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union. We will make every effort to keep your data accurate and up to date and not retain it longer than necessary for its purpose. They will only be used for the intended purposes, by the respective people with the responsibility assigned to them.

The information collected will be used with the following functionalities:

  • Internal administrative purposes;
  • Execution of services provided;
  • Contacting and sending communications (by phone, email, newsletter or otherwise), as part of commercial and marketing strategies;
  • Compliance with legal obligations to which Quinta de Raj is subject;
  • Marketplace: in the context of some integrations with third parties (for example, SEF or others), necessary and expected personal data are shared. However, the data are well secured and are shared only when the client requests integration.

The lawfulness of the processing of personal data collected, for the purposes mentioned above, is based on the consent you give to Quinta de Raj by accepting the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Guest data – how it is collected and stored

Regarding guest personal data (any information that allows a natural person to be defined, both identified and identifiable from the data), the Quinta de Raj platform also complies with the AVG. We guarantee that the processing of guests’ personal data (such as name, passport number, date of birth, etc.) is solely and exclusively for the normal operation of the activity, namely for the purpose of processing reservations and complying with legal obligations. (such as Newsletters SEF and billing). Personal information is shared only with the accommodation manager (our client and other users to whom they have given access) and is hosted in the European Union. They will be used only for the proposed purposes, by the respective people to whom the responsibility is assigned. The platform is properly equipped with the necessary measures, such as data encryption and/or deletion of data after the strictly necessary time, depending on its respective purpose.

Guest data – data responsibility

We also inform you that in the normal operation of the platform, two entities coexist:

  • Data processor: The Quinta de Raj platform is considered a data processor, that is, it processes data that comes in through channels as well as data entered into the platform by the client and guest (for example, the creation of a client file or the completion of an online check-in form);
  • Data controller: The customer who requested the Quinta de Raj service is considered the data controller, as he has control over the data that reaches him through the different platforms (e.g. Booking, Airbnb, Expedia, Ynnov, online check-in payment form, etc.). The data manager has access to guests’ personal data, can export, manipulate, print, etc., and as such is considered responsible for its protection.
